How a ticket settles
The short version: the desk holds each half until both have arrived, then pays both people at once. Here's the long version, including the parts you should know before trusting it with a bag.
Selling a coin for HYPE
- You pick the coin, the amount and your price in HYPE. Your Solana wallet signs one transaction that moves the coin into the desk's Solana escrow. The desk pays that network fee.
- The ticket goes on the board. Anyone with HYPE on Elysium can take it.
- The taker sends exactly your price in HYPE to the desk's Elysium address. The transfer carries a short tag with your ticket number and their Solana address, so nobody can claim someone else's payment.
- Once Elysium confirms it, the desk sends your coin to the taker on Solana and the HYPE, less 0.5%, to your Elysium wallet.
Buying a coin with HYPE
- You say which coin you want, how much, and how much HYPE you'll pay. Your Elysium wallet sends that HYPE to escrow, tagged with your ticket.
- If it doesn't arrive within 30 minutes the ticket is dropped. A deposit that shows up after that gets sent back.
- A taker signs one Solana transaction that sends the coin straight to your Solana wallet.
- As soon as that lands, the desk pays the taker your HYPE, less 0.5%, on Elysium.
Who holds what
This is a custodial escrow, not a smart contract. While a ticket is open, your half sits in a wallet the desk controls: one on Solana and one on Elysium. That's what lets a trade cross two chains with no bridge, but it means you are trusting the desk with your half until it settles.
To keep that risk small while the desk is new, a ticket can be worth at most 50 HYPE. Every transfer in and out is public, and both escrow addresses are listed below, so you can check them on the explorers yourself.

Fees
One fee: 0.5% of the HYPE, paid by whoever receives HYPE. The desk covers the Solana network fees for escrow, refunds and payouts. You pay your own Elysium gas when you send HYPE, which is a fraction of a cent.
If something goes wrong
- Someone took the ticket a second before you. Your HYPE comes straight back to the wallet that sent it.
- You sent the wrong amount. Same thing. It goes back in full, and you can try again.
- You closed the tab after sending HYPE. Come back to the site in the same browser and it'll pick the deposit up. On another device, paste the transaction hash on the My tickets page.
- You want out. Pull an open ticket from My tickets by signing a message with the wallet that posted it. No transaction, no fee, and your half comes back.
What can go on a ticket
SOL and any SPL or Token-2022 coin, with two exceptions the desk refuses because it can't hold them safely: coins whose creator can freeze them, and coins that take a cut on every transfer. The other half is always native HYPE on Elysium mainnet (chain 99901).
ElyOTC is independent. It has nothing to do with Kinetiq, Conduit or the Solana Foundation.
